01 · What heat buys you

Six reasons rigs keep the heat on.

◎

Optimal rheology

Stable mud properties keep the wellbore in shape and the operation predictable.

≋

Lower viscosity on swaps

Thinner fluid moves faster, so you lose less time and less product every time you switch mud systems.

↯

Faster, smoother drilling

Holding temperature lets you drill faster without shocking hole conditions.

♲

Less product, less waste

Warm fluid handles more efficiently and leaves less volume to haul for disposal.

⊘

Contamination-free

The direct-contact element heats your fluid without introducing anything into it, so valuable fluid stays clean.

⏱

Rapid heat-up

Reach target temperature in 12–24 hours. Connect more units in series to get there faster.

02 · How it works

Single loop. Steady heat.

  1. 01

    Draw

Your transfer pump pulls fluid from the storage tank. Plan for 50 L/min or more at no more than 75 psi.

  2. 02

    Heat

Fluid passes over a 20 kW direct-contact stainless element. At 6 W/in², the heat is gentle enough that it won't scorch the product.

  3. 03

    Return

Warmed fluid flows straight back into the tank through 3″ or 4″ camlocks. Nothing is mixed in and nothing is contaminated.

  4. 04

    Hold

Continuous circulation and an adjustable thermostat hold the tank at target. Most jobs reach temperature in 12–24 hours.

Your job

Fluid
23hours

Estimated heat-up time. This is a straight energy calculation that assumes insulated tanks and about 90% of the heat reaching the fluid. Wind and cold, uninsulated tanks will add time. Call us and we'll size the setup for your job.

You provide

  • Transportation to and from our shop.
  • A pump and 480 V / 3-phase / 30 A service on site
  • Insulated tanks and a minimum circulation loop, recommended for the best heat retention
  • Units cleaned inside and out before return. Contaminated returns carry an $800 cleaning and disposal fee.

We provide

  • 24/7 remote phone support
  • Every unit tested before delivery
  • If a unit doesn't work on arrival and we can't fix it remotely, we swap it within 48 hours
  • Units that fail after first use or after 48 hours are swapped, with transport and repairs at the customer's expense
